2017 Kona Process 134

Smack dab in the heart of trail bike land, sits Kona’s Process 134 with its aluminum frame, 134mm of travel, and a RockShox Monarch shock. A 140mm-travel RockShox Sektor fork offers the damping to mop up choppy trail and the fortitude to stand up to day after day riding. Its tubeless-ready WTB rims are race-light and trail-tough with the width to let Maxxis Minion and Tomahawk tires spread out with berm-railing stability and defiant traction. Spin up the Shimano 1 x 11-speed drivetrain via a RaceFace crank and fear no hill, up or down. Powerful Shimano hydraulic brakes maximize fun on the descents with impressive power and modulation. And, flick a lever to drop the KS dropper post when it's time to get rowdy.

    Comments:

This bike is as awesome as the reviews say it is. I've been mountain biking for 20 plus years and this is hands down the best mountain bike I've owned. It has encouraged me to step up my game and enabled me to ride faster, have more fun and increased my excitement to go riding. It actually feels almost like a new sport! One thing to be aware of is that the new geometry takes some adjustment. I've had a couple of crashes that I'm pretty sure we're caused by riding habits I developed on old school hard tail bikes. Bottom line is this: buy a kona process if you're looking to ride downhill fast while still pedaling for all your turns!
